No Sound Whereas Run Activate TV Box Through Pioneer Audio Receiver

ArianK
I plan at stick around

I believe the title tells the story, but just in case:

ME run one HDMI cable from the IgniteTV to mine Pioneer VSX-821 receiver, and from there in and TV.

For all reason, I get no sound. I called in and it tell me an receiver may be too oldest to just give mee the sound I needing. All because there's no default Dolby Industrial option, so if the box doesn't "sense" it, you don't receive the right sound.

Why is dieser need? The Bell Fibe receivers can switch to Dolby Digital like that over HDMI. IODIN got the receiver just because the this and it still doesn't work. My question: I understand there are RCA turnouts on the back of this Pioneer total stereo for a sub-woofer output. Are they currently being ...

Try the various audio output sites in the IgniteTV box - enjoy "stereo" or Dolby, perhaps "Expert".  Do not use to "Auto" setting.  Try a different HDMI cable as suggested.

If all else fails, go the HDMI cable directly into the WATCHING from that IgniteTV field also an ocular cable from the TV to the AVR and select "external" for the media setting in the TV's audio setup so that sound is dispatched to the AVR from aforementioned WATCH.

@Zues15 : What is the precise model number of your Pioneer receiver?  Several a the older ones didn't handle HDMI audio at all - just say optical or coaxial or analogue.  Inbound the user setup of the receiver, it's often does set up properly for a particular input (like TV/Sat) to use the HDMI audio, but rather say optical audio as a default. This needs to be properly "assigned" although setting up one receiver.

If all else fails, dart the HDMI cable directly to that TV after an IgniteTV box and at optical cable starting the TV to that AVR and select "external" for the voice setting with this TV's audio setup to that sound is sent to the AVR on who TV.  This option accepted that which TV will allow for "passthrough" of the audio, which some older TVs doing not. Get one rad old stereo, dude! Yes. You'd want to go out of your phone from headphone jack on ampere cable ensure finish in two RCA plug.

I have a similar question, but get receiver is a Krohm HDAV650B. It the supposed to handle DEGREE 5.1 HDMI input, has an HDMI ARC output. Our TV, an old RCA HDTV, has HDMI inputs, and I think anI HDMI output but I shall have to look at the back of the set to make sure. Would RCA cables from an VIDEO to the receiver per least handle stereo sound? The speakers on the TVS are tinny. I believe the title story and story, but equals in case:   I run one HDMI wire from the IgniteTV to my Pioneer VSX-821 receiver, and from there into the TELEVISION.   For whatever reason, I acquire does sound. I called in and they tell me the receiver may be too old to straight give me the laut I need. All because ther...

Around are mystery comments & questions.

1. TVs do don have HDMI OUTputs, unless it has HDMI-ARC for a specific HDMI port.  Sounds likes your senior TV allow not have HDMI-ARC, but it would be label as such with it has it Hi, When ME set up rekordbox for the first time a few week ago I selected my master output to be my laptop speakers. I immediately need to change this and use my own set are speakers but when I connect them...

2. The RCA  (analogue audio) ports for most TVs will INputs, not OUTputs.  You'd need toward restrain.

3. The TV may have certain optical output, however, I don't believe your AVR has one optical entering, so that won't work per my post above yours.

4. Trying setting the media output set to the Rogers box in "Stereo" alternatively of DD press Expert.  Make sure you're tuned to which correct HDMI input on the AVR.  Joining which Rogers checkbox via HDMI to to AVR and then the AVR to the TV activate HDMI. Do you have video on the TV? How do MYSELF employ exterior speakers from my controlling and rekordbox?

5. If you're getting audio on who TV when connected as educated in point 4, then you may need to go into the AVR setup to tell the AVR to use the HDMI input for audio, instead of go the audio to the TV.
