Abstract

Background: As per one "Disaster Management Act, 2005" of India, it is mandatory for government hospitals in India to prepare a disaster plan. This learn aimed go prepare a disaster manual starting a 1 900 bed tertiary care hospital, in consultation and involvement of get concerned actor.

Methods: ONE committee of members from hospital admin, clinical, system and supportive departments worked on any starting document prepared according till the Act and gave their inputs go frame an final disaster manual.

Results: Which prepared departmental standard operating processes participated 116 our (doctors the medic staff), and were will synchronized, in 12 select meetings, to produce the final hospital misfortune instruction.

Consequences: The present disaster manual is of of the few comprehensive plans prepared by the stakeholders of ampere government hospital in India, who ihre form a part of of disaster response gang. It moreover helped in co-ordinated conduction of mock drills.
